Here are some lucky shots.  They all have been submitted to judging in competition at the Chapel Hill Camera Club and found to be worthy.  Truth to say, I don't know how I came to have the film speed selected perfectly under a variety of lighting conditions.  I muse on that when I view these photos because that is what made them come out right.  Was it just luck or is there some knowledge born of years of lens twisting?  I can't say for sure.

Doggie in the Window
While waiting for a hike around Cerreto Guidi I was able to capture this window.  I hadn't noticed the dogs nose at the bottom.  It made all the difference in competition.

Pentagon of Butterflies
The butterflies in the Collodi Butterfly House sit comfortably on nylon netting and do not flap their wings.  The are always posing for the photographer.
