New Jersey

My sister Louise finally decided that it was time to retire.  Believe me, it's no small thing to drive from southwest Durham, North Carolina to northern New Jersey.  But for my sister's surprise retirement party and to get to see my niece's new house in Seabright, gotta go.  I first drove up to nephew Ken's fixer-upper in Falls Church, VA to survey the newly renovated kitchen.  Also got a chance to pet Clark, Ken's Welsh Corgi.  He is  part of a pair called Lewis and Clark.  Lewis is in the vet's with an infection.  Next morning we set off for New Jersey with Clark in the back seat of the overpowering Ford Mustang.  The whole trip takes 9 to 10 hours but was well worth it.
